Expertise and Research Interests

My primary interest is in the application of modern imaging techniques to disorders of the locomotor system. I have undertaken original work in the application of diagnostic ultrasound to joint, muscle, and soft tissue disease with particular attention to joint effusion and congenital dysplasia of the hip.

I apply computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and standard radiological methods in the investigation of spine, bone, and joint disease.

I undertake imaging of acute skeletal trauma.

I have experience in percutaneous spine therapy including chemonucleolysis, automated percutaneous disectomy, intradiscal electrothermal therapy, kyphoplasty, and vertebroplasty.
