I am interested particularly in the interface between child neurology, epilepsy, genetics and inborn errors of metabolism.

2. Organic acidemias, in particular glutaricaciduria; neurochemistry and neuropathological aspects, animal models
3. Genetic and neurobiological basis of pervasive developmental disorders
4. Genetic basis of epilepsy
5. Epileptic encephalopathies of infancy and childhood
6. Cerebral morphogenesis, developmental controls of brain and craniofacial structure with reference to agenesis of the corpus callosum, neuronal migration defects, and holoprosencephaly

I am interested in neuroprotective effects of AED's and their potential in the management of catastrophic neurometabolic disorders particularly Glutaricaciduria.

Pharmacogenomic aspects of antiepileptic medication effects in children with epilepsy.
