My research interests and current projects include the following:
Epidemiology of maternal morbidity, mortality, and adverse pregnancy outcomes, especially pregnancy-induced hypertension, intrauterine growth retardation, and preterm delivery
Effect of domestic violence and psychosocial stress on maternal morbidity and perinatal outcomes
Epidemiology of breast and cervical cancer, especially studies of mammographic density as a risk factor or a breast cancer biomarker
Vulvar disease
Treatment of cervical dysplasia and risk of preterm delivery in New Zealand.
