How the central nervous system controls the musculoskeletal system during these activities

Determining the biomechanical properties of the spine and estimating loads on the spine in various daily activities
Determining underlying mechanisms of low back and neck pain as they relate to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these conditions
Examining the control of normal and abnormal posture
Quantifying proprioception
Designing and developing hardware and software for biomechanical sensors
Studying the causes of birth-related injuries as they relate to incontinence and prolapse in women
