Expertise and Research Interests

Expertise in animal modeling of acute lung injury, endothelial barrier regulation, and functional lung image analysis. Currently investigating novel therapies for acute lung injury in a mechanically relevant large animal model of ALI as well as the regulation of pulmonary vascular tone and mechanisms of hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction.
