Expertise and Research Interests

My research has centered on interventions that promote healthy parent-child relationships in the first five years of life with an emphasis on families from underserved populations.

Other Expertise

Community-based interventions with low-income families of color.

Future Research

I wish to focus on developing appropriate methods for studying the effectiveness of family-based interventions for low-income people of color. These include recruitment and retentions strategies, outcome measures, and developing more participant-centered methodologies.
