Expertise and Research Interests

Physical therapy-research/areas of interest are clinical electrophysiology(emg/ncv studies),community dwelling elderly,osteoporosis,diabetes and role of exercise in these conditions.Have expertise in these areas. Also interested in clinical teaching and use of standardized patients,evidence based practice and teaching.Have experience and some expertice in these areas.

Other Expertise

Experience in curriculum design and development of doctoral programs especially entrylevel professional degree for physical therapy- the DPT degree. Expertice in reseach design in clinical physical therapy.

Future Research

The effects of the use of canes, walkers in the development of carpal tunnel syndrome in the community dewelling elderly.

Industrial Relevance

Design of ambulation assist devices such as canes and walker to reduce stress at the wrist joint for use by elderly.
