- Micromechanical Machining: mechanical machining with cutting tools as small as 20-micron diameter end-mills, microdrilling, diamond machining, hot embossing, ultrasonic machining, EDM, and associated metrology including interferometric microscope, SEM, SPM
- Expertise is in design and fabrication of parts in the sub-millimeter regime to parts in the macro-regime with micron features

Other Expertise

Experienced in design of large-scale abrasive cleaning machines for the automotive industry, research payload that flew aboard Columbia, and forensic accident reconstruction and product liability investigations

Future Research

Developing expertise in emerging fields of nanotechnology including nanointerconnections and protein-based nanosensors
