Expertise and Research Interests

Mechanisms responsible for alterations in protein expression in human skeletal muscle as a result of acute or chronic changes in loading history and/or disease/trauma, even secondary conditions. Techniques include electrical skeletal muscle stimulation, skeletal muscle biopsy, magnetic resonance imaging, cell and molecular bio/histochemical analyses, in vivo skeletal muscle mechanics evaluation and emg.

Industrial Relevance

Development of therapies to assist the disabled with modility or neuromuscular conditioning, even locomotion or reduction of secondary conditions.
