Expertise and Research Interests

I am currently most concerned with improving the teaching and application of statistical theory. Statistical reasoning and the limitations of the subject in dealing with inference should be emphasized. I am attempting to write an introductory book that will illustrate statistical reasoning and the limitations of the subject.

My current research concerns education and statistics, repeated games, and statistical decision theory.

Consultant to various governmental units, companies, and attorneys. Expert witness in applications of statistics in areas of auditing, overcharge recovery, validation of petitions, contested elections, and discrimination in employment practice.
