Future Research

I plan to examine structural and functional connectivity in patients with schizophrenia as part of my NIMH-funded R21 study.

Industrial Relevance

My work is relevant to understanding the neural circuitry involved in the treatment of schizophrenia and geriatric depression.
In particular, my colleagues and I have found that brain white matter organization predicts treatment response to escitalopram in patients with geriatric depression.
