Expertise and Research InterestsI am a visual artists presently working as a painter. My art work is representationals working with the human figure, symbols and objects that relate to the female experience. I have studied and taught drawing painting, etching, and art appreciation and have had great success in teaching drawing for people who think they can't draw. I have expertise in drawing and painting the human anatomy.I have expertise in contemporary acrylic & oil painting. I am interested in doing research in traditional, industral & primative painting materials & techniques. Traditional painting techniques such as wax, varnishes, fresco & egg tempora. Industrial paints such as enamals and metallics that adhere to metals and plastics. And primative painting techniques that are used by indigenous people of the Americas, Asia and Australia.I have collaborated in public performances with dancers and musicians and have done my best work in the solitude of artist in residencies. I am interested in new residencies (both national & international) where I can work alone and along side other visual artists, writers, musicians, social scientists and scientists. I am also interested in exploring future grant oportunities which I could collaborate with other artists & social scientists. I am also interested in support to collaborated in an industrial setting.
