Expertise and Research Interests

My expertise lies primarily in the design and administration of sample surveys. I have been involved directly in survey design and administration since 1988, and have directed more than 100 separate research studies ranging from local surveys to state and national surveys employing a variety of methodologies. My experience includes telephone, mail, in-person, and more recently, web-based survey projects.

My current research interests include survey methodology, including examining newly emerging web-based survey applications. Secondary interests include electoral and political behavior.
