Expertise and Research Interests

My research interests are mainly in the analysis of the following:
(1) time to event data (survival analysis)
(2) epidemiologic data (case-control and cohort studies)
(3) data involving many heterogeneous subgroups.

My specific methodological interests involve the following:
(1) Survival analysis: a. semiparametric methods for accelerated lifetime, b. robust methods for proportional hazards regression, c. multiple frailty models.
(2) Methods of detecting heterogeneity across many small subgroups.
