Issues dealing with the asthma epidemic that is disproportionately affecting our inner city communities. 2. Clinical research working in the identification of risk factors contributing to the increased asthma morbidity and mortality among the minorities and evaluation of the impact of control measures aimed at reducing it. 3.Developing effective strategies for improving access to health care for minorities. 4. The implementation of asthma outcome measurements to help determine the most effective community-based interventions to combat the asthma epidemic.
