Expertise and Research Interests

My primary research area has been clinical trials and the statistical and design issues related to such trials. The type of trial has varied from multicenter trials such as the ALLHAT Project and Neonatal Seizure Trial to smaller single center trials such as a dietary intervention for lipid lowering trial. While the clincal applications for the trials have varied considerably that vast majority of the trials have been related to issues in cardiology such as lipid and blood pressure control.
