Expertise and Research Interests

My interest is in conducting clinical research on the surgical treatment of congenital heart disease including pulmonary artery shunting, tetralogy of Fallot, coarctation of the aorta, and ventricular septal defect. Laboratory studies include animal models for congenital heart disease, as well as studies involving the optimum methods of myocardial preservation, and treatment and amelioration of post-perfusion syndrome in neonates and infants.

Other Expertise

I wish to be contacted by interested students (medical, graduate or undergraduates) as a potential research mentor/thesis advisor.
