Expertise and Research Interests

Kazim Sahin is a Professor of the Animal Nutrition Department at School of Veterinary Medicine of Firat University. His research focuses mainly on cancer prevention, stress, animal welfare, stressed animal fed particularly antioxidant vitamins and minerals and improving food quality.He wasthe first to report that dietary lycopene intake prevents leiomyoma in the Japanese quail in collaboration with medical researchers at Wayne State University,Detroit, USA.
