I have strong experience in implementing automated, integrated library systems, also in circulation conversion. I've worked extensively with the NOTIS, CLSI, and Innovacq systems. I have automated interlibrary loan experience with OCLC ILL-subsystem and locally-developed database application to automate aspects of borrowing. I have moderate knowledge of telecommunication as it relates to library systems. I have extensive experience in management in large academic libraries. NOTIS is a mainframe-based automated library system. It is in use at approximately one-half of the members of the Association for Research Libraries. CLSI is a turn-key automated library system. OCLC is a national union database of over 20 million titles. Members share their catalog records. The ILL (Interlibrary Loan) sub-system of OCLC is an online method of sending and tracking ILL requests made to other OCLC members.
