Expertise and Research Interests

Epidemiology of infectious diseases and sexually transmitted diseases. Multicenter trials of behavioral interventions, especially related to women's health. Includes work on unrecognized pregnancy, ineffective birth control use, early pregnancy recognition, and substance use at conception and in early pregnancy.
