Expertise and Research Interests

My expertise is in the following areas: human RecQ helicases and helicase deficiency syndromes including Werner, Bloom and Rothmund-Thomson syndrome; homing endonucleases and their engineering as novel genomic reagents for biology and medicine; and somatic mutation, genetic instability and their roles in human disease.
