Expertise and Research Interests

As a member of the Division of Molecular Endocrinology in the Department of Physiology as well as a member of the Gene Technology Group, our specific areas of interest (currently funded) relate to expression and regulation of pituitary and placental members of the growth hormone gene family, as well as fibroblast growth factor signaling in the heart with particular reference to heart muscle regeneration and cardioprotection.
