Expertise and Research Interests

Medical stimulation has become a very exciting and state of the art training tool. We have developed a full-scale computer controlled patient simulator which is being used weekly for resident, medical student, and nurse training, We are currently studying the management of intraoperative critical events.

My other area of interest is obstetrical anesthesia. We are currently involved in a number of research projects looking at the delivery of obstetrical anesthesia and its effect on the progress of labor.
