Expertise and Research Interests

Dr. Rubel's research encompasses four interrelated areas: development of auditory information processing, neuroembryology of the auditory system, hair cell regeneration, and the effects of experience on brain development. These research programs involve the use of behavioral, neurophysiological and anatomical methods on laboratory animals.
