Future Research

Creation of digital history libraries for teaching, learning, and research

Development of e-history, using the Internet, not just to convey information, but to produce and disseminate scholarship. I can conceive Jamestown as a series of evolving landscapes represented in digital maps, images, sounds, documents, court records, runaway ads (slave and indentured), etc. in a timeframe sequence that reveals avenues of inquiry and interpretation while it also invites users to explore other side streets as well.

Industrial Relevance

Companies with interest in application of advanced technology to research, teaching, and learning needs of K-16. Collaborations would include projects that serve these needs while finding solutions to technical problems in computing applications. Need support of companies willing to invest in innovative technologies for the education of nation's school children, college students, and dissemination of accurate historical information on our heritage to the general public. These would include companies in computer software and hardware,Web site developers, communications, and related industries.
