Expertise and Research Interests

My background in 19th and 20th century history of art, with special interest in surrealism and women's studies, as well as the interdisciplinary connections between art, humanities, and the history of science, particularly alchemical imagery. My international interests are: France, Britain, Germany, and the Czech Republic. My cross-departmental interests are: film, literature/art, dance/art, music/art, and the history of science.
