Much of the research of Dr. Weiss has pertained to the study of the causes of cancer in women. At present, he is examining the influence of post-menopausal hormone therapy on the incidence of endometrial cancer. Other current research includes studies of IGF-1 genotype and serum levels in relation to the etiology of prostate cancer, and of the efficacy of PSA screening in reducing mortality from prostate cancer.
