Expertise and Research Interests

Examination of neural mechanisms of hearing and acoustically guided behavior, and their modulation by the limbic system. I use physiological, pharmacological, and anatomical approaches, including single and multiple channel physiological recording, micro-iontophoresis, neural tract tracing, immunocytochemistry, and in situ hybridization.
