Expertise and Research Interests

My primary interest is injury epidemiology, with emphasis on the area of occupational injuries.

My current projects include a cross-sectional survey, 'Injuries Among Iowa Farmers;' a longitudinal study of injuries in a rural community; and a secondary analysis of occupational injuries among older workers using a nationally representative survey, the Health and Retirement Study.
